Our FAQs

What is Broadsignal?
Broadsignal is a signal intelligence platform for traders and investors. We aggregate, clean, and analyze real-time market signals — including options flow, order book imbalances, news sentiment, on-chain data, and alternative datasets — into a unified, actionable dashboard. Our goal is to help professional traders cut through noise and find high-probability setups.
Who is Broadsignal for?
Broadsignal is designed for professional traders, proprietary trading firms, hedge funds, asset managers, and sophisticated individual traders. If you rely on data-driven decisions and need faster, clearer signals, Broadsignal is built for you. We are not currently optimized for retail beginners or passive investors.
What makes Broadsignal different from other signal tools?
Most signal tools focus on a single data source (e.g., only options or only news). Broadsignal combines multiple signal types, applies proprietary filtering to reduce false positives, and presents everything in a clean, low-latency interface. We also prioritize transparency — you can see exactly how each signal is calculated.
Where does Broadsignal get its data?
We source data from reputable exchanges, market data providers, and public blockchains. Current sources include Yahoo Finance, OPRA for options, CoinGecko for crypto, news APIs. All data is ingested, normalized, and timestamped. We never resell your personal data or trading activity. For specific data sources, contact us directly.
Is my trading data private and secure?
Yes. Broadsignal does not trade against you or share your activity with third parties. All data transmitted to our platform is encrypted (TLS 1.3). We do not store your brokerage credentials. Our full security practices are outlined in our Privacy Policy. As a pre-seed startup, we follow industry best practices but recommend you review our policies carefully.
How much does Broadsignal cost?
We are currently in private beta, which is free for approved enterprise traders. After general release, we expect to offer tiered subscription plans starting around [approx., $99–$199/month] depending on data access and features. Beta participants will receive significant discounts or extended free access as a thank-you.
Do you offer a free trial?
For approved enterprise traders, the private beta serves as a free trial. For others, we may offer a limited 7-day or 14-day trial after our public launch. Join our waitlist to be notified when trials become available.
What platforms does Broadsignal support?
Currently, Broadsignal is a web-based application (desktop-first). We support all modern browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). Mobile apps for iOS and Android are on our roadmap but not yet available. Real-time alerts can be delivered via email, Slack, or webhook. Your Broadsignal dashboard also delivers real-time alerts.
Can I contribute my own signals or data?
Not directly at this stage. However, we may open an API for custom data ingestion in future releases. If you have a proprietary dataset or signal model you would like to integrate with Broadsignal, please contact us — we are open to partnerships.
How do I stay updated on Broadsignal’s progress?
Follow our X handle – or sign up for our low-volume newsletter (send a blank email to our team with subject “Subscribe”). We do not spam. Major updates, such as public launch or pricing changes, will also be announced directly to users who have applied.
